Default iPad mounted to tripod for instant review of shot

I have everything I need except the iPad mount, but I am wondering if I took this mount to my tripod, used the connector/cable and shot in RAW/jpg, would I get an instant review of each shot or can I shoot while my camera is hooked up to the iPad?

Wow, I posted this on another forum and someone replied with the following. I didn't know they even existed. It's the Eye-Fi SD card. It creates a wifi signal to instantly view your shots on iPhone/iPad, etc.

Yup eye fi has been around for a good 5 + years.
I've never tried it but i'd be very interested to hear if it works smoothly. Raw files are between 10-36 MB on many cameras - the speed of transfer would be my main question.
It would be great to examine photos in the field - but if it takes 30 seconds+ to load....hassle imo as it wrecks the flow.

I went and bought the Eye Fi Mobi 8GB class 10 HD card ($50 at Bestbuy). It took two minutes to set up on my iphone/ipad, and boom, I take a picture and it is on my phone in about 5 secs. I do have to shoot in RAW/jpeg

No wifi required, it makes its own private hotspot only viewable to the devices you set it up with. The salesman at Best Buy actually wasn't sure and thought you had to be in a wifi hotspot to use it. I bought it and told him I would tell him how it works. He said I could bring it back if it didn't work.

Now I can instantly view HD shoots within seconds after shooting them to make sure I got all the right WB, etc

    High definition Chimping!!!!!
