Welcome...
The door to this old abandoned house kept opening up in the wind. It was a bit eerie as it creaked every time it opened and then shut. Unfortunately somehow my ISO got bumped up really high (1600) so I lost most of my shots due to noise. I salvaged these ones by turning them into older type grainy photos which considering the subject matter, I think might work and I can barely pull off.

The second one is particularly bad, but I wanted to show the door opening as it was really creepy. I'm sorry I missed it as I think it would have been a killer had I got it right. I lost the left edge in the straightening process as it was also a bit tilted. I think I was busy being creeped out by the door opening and closing on its own and creaking when it was doing it....it was pretty freaky! :headslap:

Actually, I think they totally work. I like 'em! :)
I hope you took the offer and stepped inside for a tea. Looks like you might have gotten some interesting angles from inside.

It was just too cold and windy and franky I was just too scared to go in... It was something right out of the creepy movies....I'll bet Freddy Kruger was waiting in there!
And thanks...I'm just glad I could salvage them. I can hardly wait to go back there! Thank you Silver Efex! :highfive:

scary and awesome, a really nice find. I think you did a good job of rescuing them from 'death by high ISO' too.

the graininess works here for me. I really like the first one. The second is cool too.

Textbook example of saving "noisy" shots. Just perfect! Good job!

Wow...thanks...to think I almost tossed them but thought I would try a "Hail Mary" save on them. I guess it worked. :)

They have that classic "let's do a story on the local ghost town" look. Your rescue on them worked wonderfully.
