All I have is a 200 (I actually shot it at 105mm because it was sharper)

I missed it last night but just went out and had a go a day late. I saw the plane in the bottom right corner just at the last moment and so I had to scramble to quickly get the shot off before it disappeared. It isnt ideal but I was pleased to at least get it.

Nice shots guys. That plane was a good idea.
I went out Saturday night, since the forecast was for rain on Sunday and sure enough it was pouring.

It was a bust for me. saturday and sunday cloudy.
I did give a photo tour on Friday night though, here's a shot of the Biosphere by Julie Royes with a full moon but not the super-moon.

Really like the plane in your image RM!
Nice images Jude1 and AT.
Great shots everyone! I was camping in Vermont and it rained the whole night. All well...
Runmonty--I love that plane you managed to catch there, certainly adds a sense of scale!
jude01--I like the second one, the clouds add a nice texture.
I just went back and tried HDR version from a bracketed set I shot Monday night

I think you have something there RM - very striking!
I dig how the moon looks like it's resting on those clouds - Can you describe the PP on the moon in particular, was it this sharp in the RAW file. (I'm getting into moon-shooting theory lately, lol)
