Looks like a fantastic road to drive through. Was the photographic version no good?
A very interesting ¾ mile drive lined with backlit palms, spanish moss, the remains of decaying trees, and what must be a trillion mosquitoes. And then, of course, it looks entirely different when you've turned around and go the other way to get back out. The road itself is not the destination, however. I spent only enough time there to allow the tide to recede to a point that would make the sole reason for my journey possible.
