As was said, WOW!!!! This is an amazing shot, and you have made it this way with your perfect PP technique, and choice of b&w for this.
Surely. I brought the raw file into Capture NX 2 and there it got just the rudimentary adjustments to WB and levels as well as making use of various noise reduction features. Saved that as a tiff and then went into Silver Efex 2 and selected the High Structure Smooth pre-set. I applied the orange filter and adjusted it to the strength that suited me. After that, I tweaked the sliders for amplifying both whites and blacks as well as soft contrast and dynamic brightness. I applied the lightest coffee tone and the least amount of lens fall off. I then went to my orton preset that I built and have used for a couple of years. Reduced the opacity of that layer by 50%. Lastly, I sharpened and dodged/burned as I saw fit.Quote:
