Default "Garden as though you will live forever."

I am lucky to live near the botanic gardens in Dublin. It is a very nice place for a walk early on a Sunday morning before the crowds blow in.
I have often shot macro stuff here but last weekend with my film camera (Nikon 401x Aka N5005) and two lens, the 10-20mm I bought for use on my d90(crop sensor) and a 50mm 1.8. I made a bit of an effort to look at more of the gardens and some of the buildings.

I had a nice day and was intrigued enough to see how I made out that I developed the film as soon as I got home.

As expected the 10-20mm gave crazy vignetting at the widest end because it is designed for use on the crop sensor digital cameras and I like the sharpness that the 50mm achieved.

As always feedback is welcome and encouraged, I have pretty thick skin and I learn a loy from the advice I read on the forums.

Cool set. #2 for me, I like the feeling of motion from it. The only suggestion I have is maybe a little less vignetting in it...seems a little too dark for me.

It's a fine set. The vignetting is noticeable but is a very personal decision. I'm a bit of a fan actually - I know I've been told in the past my vignettes are much too heavy (but I didn't pay much attention ). I assume it was BW film? It looks lovely!

2 is a cracker, easily my favourite here. I think I commented on this on Flickr or somewhere else. I've seen it before, anyway. Great one.

The hut in 7 reminds me of Gilligan's Island haha.

Great flower in 8 too. Back when I started photography someone with decades more experience than I told me that BW flower photos don't usually work. I have since decided it only works with very pale (preferably white!) flowers. This one looks great!

One of my favourite lenses too (I assume it's the Sigma - which I must really use more often!), but the first time I've seen it used on film. Do the Nikon mount ones have an aperture ring?

Edit: Whoa, just noticed on your Flickr page it is the HSM version of the Sigma 10-20. Does that autofocus with your F401x?

Thanks for the comments and feedback. The excessive vignetting is a by product of using the 10-20mm at an angle that is too wide for the film camera to cope with. I bought the lens for use on my digital and it is only really designed for use with the digital body.
@tim, nope it does not autofocus on the f401x and it does not have the aperture ring but what it lacks in versatility in makes up for in vignetting.
@bambi, when you make it back I will be your personal guide!
