Effects software can also be used in colourization. This is controlled solarization through a software filter. The close up look is bizarre but it prints out suprisingly well.

Nice - I use a lot of their software. I'm just wondering if I can justify the $$ for Colour FX 3

I found that more of their filters were usable than I expected when I first bought them, despite being pricey.

I've got colour FX 2 - great software, and I realllly want the new B&W conversion tool they've released... but $200 for a one-function plugin? I'm not sure if it's worth it or not...

From Colour FX2 have you tried the B\W Dynamic Contrast Filter in combination with the Paper Toner Filters?

I use the B&W Dynamic all the time, not tried the Paper Toner however; I'll have to look into that one. Thanks!
