I planted these many years ago. they took a few years and then they took right off and are growing like mad. I love the purple colour but they don't last long. However, if anyone wants some for their garden, come on by!

GREAT colour, Bambi. I'll take shots from mine (I have various). Maybe we could change plant seeds at the end of the summer? :-)

Nice cature, Bambi. Here I thought Columbines were only to be found in the wild? At least this is where I see them more often than cultivated.
Just wait, in two more weeks or so all the wild flowers should be out in Alberta, then it's 'feast' time for the photographers.
