I've been there - awesome!
I quite like this shot - beautiful colours.
I do find those lamp things to be distractions...and I hate seeing crap like that when I visit these types of places... but alas silly things like safety need to be taken into consideration ;)
I work hard to find angles without the lamps and other distractions...but sometimes it's just not possible....

:thankyou: everyone. It IS an amazing place to shoot but I do find myself trying to avoid those $%# lights. I also always question my composition, my camera settings etc etc so by then end of the day I am exhausted!

the colours are wonderful. did you also take one moving over to the right so the path over the bridge was there? I can see so many angles to take here it's a wonder you are not still there!

Thank you Bambi,
Good suggestion..hmmm..I didn't. By the time we reached the Japanese Gardens it was hard to get a picture without tourists in it. But maybe having the tourists in the pic is okay? (but not the two men wearing Davy Crocket hats!!)

lol well you could try putting up yellow caution tape to keep people away from the spots you want to shoot :)
