Never seen irridescent fangs like that before. Great shots. What kind of spider is it?

it's the rare freakus-bambi-outofhermindus. In this respect it's related to those Hunter spiders of Australia:D
*shudder*
but all that aside, really neat close ups.

 Hey you're catching on ;)
And they are Huntsmen Spiders ... and the scariest thing is ... they can damn near outrun a human!
That 2nd one is a beauty. So sharp.

That one is a beauty and very well taken. Love the iridescent fangs too...must be to attract prey I'm thinking. Spiders don't bother me too much. :) My question is which ones are the eyes or do they have 4?
Thanks all!
It is a DARING JUMPING SPIDER (Phidippus audax) and has 8 eyes as each spider has.

Glad I can't see the forums at work. My coworker in the next office would have destroyed the monitor and her shoe.:headslap:
