Well got out for a walk this morning...all the crappy weather of late had me out to Reader Rock Gardens to see if any flowers were around as I was craving colour....Found some :):

Very nice shot of a beautiful flower. Very soft and delicate. Your shot definitely does it justice.
Actually did not know of it as Prarie Crocus, always knew of it as Pasqueflower, (Anemone)

HBG I think you are right although I'm sure I have seen them called prairie crocus as they grow all over the fields in the prairies....I think this is a nickname for them when they are wild. :)
Just Googled it (Gosh I love using the word Google as a verb:laughing:) and yep that is the other name for them! :highfive:
