A couple of different views of a play area behind the Cape May Ferry terminal. What do you think?

I love the colours here. And the sharpness and exposure is very good also.
However, I'm afraid I find the compositions lacking somewhat. Both shots feel 'cut off' to me. It's like you wanted to feature some of the elements up close but didn't want to lose others in the process and compromised. In the end I can't find anything that really stands out as a good subject and the overall scene doesn't work for me either.
I think zooming back on a larger bite of the scene to clearly show it is a playground OR zooming in and making at least one of the elements really dominate would have been a stronger choice.
Hope that helps some.

Thanks Mad Aussie, that helps. I guess I need to think more about what I am trying to show. Sometimes you can't capture with a camera the feeling you get when looking at something with your eyes...

You are so right!! I've often been moved by a scene, grabbed the camera, summoned all my skill, and come up with a bland looking shot that doesn't portray what I saw and felt at all. Knowing exactly what your subject really is and making that element work is the key to so many good shots.

I agree with MA's critique here - Thanks MA!
