Raining again. Kids don't want to go anywhere near that camera and quite frankly neither do I. I got this shot this morning (that I liked) toying with the flash but had way too much black space..so I doubled the image. Then I got even more into it and thought I'll attempt to make a poster like image (I like doing those too for a book someday with quotes I like, although I get my hubby to put them together as I don't really now how). No doubt I'll get him to redo it too but for now I thought it was cute..maybe I'm staring at dandelions too long.

Love that first shot! The text in the 2nd is worth some thought too :)
Haha..you know how many texts I could choose from ;)
I'll get petey to give it a shot tonight and put his up..lol. It'll put my feeble attempt to absolute shame.. :P
I really like the first one too. Think I'll get it done up for a neat photo on a long small width wall.

Shot 1 is great, I like the white against the black, how did you light it?
I used a piece of black plastic board (for the life of me can't think of the proper name for it now). Put the sb600 to just the left and slightly under it and my camera directly in front of it about a foot away (so that I could shoot at around 100mm). Set the camera to ttl and this photo (have to look back now) was either the sb 600 at m 1/1 or 1/60.
LOL..that is all I can do for now..but it keep the background black which is what I wanted.
Makes sense? Hope this was what you were asking for :)

Beauties kat...I have always thought of our lion friends as per the text in #2. Never understood the Idea of gassing them off the lawn
