OK, so I said I'd throw up some more normal iris shots. Just for Iggy, the second one's sticking its tongue out, too. :p
Very lovely! Love the colors and tones and exposures. First one is my fav

As cute as #2 is, the first one has my vote too. I just love the rich colour. :)

Lovely set for sure - make room on the bandwagon for me too please - shot 1 is me fave.

I'm drawn more to shots 2 and 3 myself. #2 would win hands down for me if it had a bit more contrast.

Definitely #2 for me. But they are all nice.

Thank you all. I tried shooting down at the tops on several blooms, which gave some pretty results. I think there's one more spot along my normal path where this color is planted, and they haven't gotten to the bloom stage yet. Gives me a chance to try it again.
MA, is this an improvement? (You're sneaking in lessons in PSE, I know you are!) I also went for a bit of correcting for the white, which makes the wall behind it about the right shade of gray.

Actually I'm having trouble seeing much difference at all. A subtle change in colour is about all I can pick.

Huh. Looked like a greater difference in PSE. Well, take a stab at it, if you'd like. I'm not likely to get to it before the end of the week.

If it were mine I'd have probably gotten in close and repaired that halo around the closest bit of petal as well.

Hm, not in the original. Probably from where I was trying to keep the white from blowing out when I lightened the whole thing. I'm still definitely a novice at this post processing stuff.
