If you take a short cut through New Germany you will see this old building along the river. I believe it's a mill but don't hold my feet to the fire as I'm not sure. I was dressed for a funeral so I couldn't wander all around it (plus they had those pesky no trespassing signs). But I got a couple I like. Definitely one of those places to return to many times. I bet it would be neat light painted. this is a broken window that caught my eye.

Cool shot, my question is do you leave your camera in the car? carry it everywhere you go because you mentioned you were at a funeral and i had that thought sometime last week. Would people think it " not cool" to have a camera at a funeral?

yes it was in a car. the funeral was quite a drive and I thought if I took my camera on the way home I might find some shots. I hope it doesn't sound cold! The funeral was for the partner of a friend. I barely knew him but knew her quite well. I wanted to show support. And no, I would not have brought it into the funeral. I hid it under blankets in the car.
