I'm going to pick that 2nd shot as my fav here. The rock, dead looking moss/lichen and leaves, plus the petals seem to all speak of life ending there.

Thanks, everyone. The second shot was from my second attempt. I'd tried it the day before and it wasn't quite what I wanted.

Iggy, don't worry. Summer hasn't even started. Though if we go directly into a long set of dog days here, we might wish it would end. :eek: back.
