This one was next to an office building. But I still got my shoes muddy. (And I really should go to bed now)

Very nice - I like the pastels here very much.

Very nice! It looks like a rhododendron. I love those flowers, more of a tree, I guess. They will not grow here in Calgary. Too cold, too dry,the soil is too alkaline and if that were not enough, the Chinooks suceed in killing off many a tree and shrub that would normally survive a winter.

It's probably an azalea, similar to a rhodie, but they bloom about a month earlier. Mountain laurel blooms right on the heels of the rhodies and I've found a bunch of sheep's laurel at a favorite pond so my mind is turning that one over. Mine azaleas haven't bloomed yet, but when they do it's a riot of color and bees.

Yeah, it's getting close to everything blooming. Once the cottonwoods start, I'll be going through kleenex like crazy. And JAS, isn't it just like natural things to totally trash the good stuff? I was at the MK Nature Center yesterday. There were some deer hanging out in a section where they start the plants for the displays. I think the deer think the sign really says "MK Salad Bar".

With a touch of lavender, MA. Deep breath, don't let these advanced identifications throw you. ;)

Pink is about as advanced as I get with flowers I'm afraid :)
