Just remembered what I found on our drive yesterday morning. We cruised up and over Mt Mee and down a very cool road for cycling that I'd never ridden on but my wife had so I wanted to check it out.
At the bottom was the scene below.
I parked the van (you can see it in the background) on a concrete driveway.

The accident had started about 5 metres further back (the other side of my van) and rolled into the ditch.
Actually it started when the driver decided to drive too fast on wet roads with a rear tyre so bald Michael Schumacher would have put it on his F1 car.

Anyhow ... I grabbed the camera and headed over for a look ... hoping not to find a body or someone injured in there. Thankfully it appears the occupant(s) had escaped unhurt.

Yep...Walking up on that scene would give me the fear for sure. You must have been relieved that no drastically injured occupants were within :D
That rear tire is as bald as a babies bum...Poor traction there!

Yeh I'd rather not have to check for life signs on someone who has passed, who have to deal with someone injured badly. Not sure of what phone coverage I had there either.

Thats kind of crazy to come upon a scene like that. Glad to hear noone was injured. I probably would have spent some time with this one. Should have been driving a Suburu, or a Jeep.

I've come across this sort of scene a few times actually. Usually while either riding my bike up the side of a mountain or, like this time, out driving with my camera around a mountain.
Water ... mountain roads ... speed ... bad driving ... bald tyres ... you gotta wonder!

HA, wish I could say the same, but not really. Everything is about as flat as a penny in our parts of the Midwest USA. Couple bumps here and there, but thats about it. Although I did see a car that drove up a guardrail the other day. It was at night and there were about 6 cops around so I didnt stop.
