It's one thing us 'mid range' Canon body users are disadvantaged with compared to Nikon at present! Well ... nothing a tripod wouldn't fix in some cases but not when a fast shutter speed is required, or tripod not allowed.

I think a tripos would have been no problem, I'm just lazy...This walkabout was six hours long and I just won't carry a tripod around for that length of time :)
