thanks Casil. Yeah, it just kinda made sense. I had a couple ideas. I have a few with my boots in there too but in the end liked this one the best.

thanks MA. I feel most comfortable sitting on a horse so it made sense to me :)
I also wanted to push myself with some indoor staged photos rather then running around outside and taking what strikes me -although I suspect that I always will do just that. but doing a photo like this makes me really think it all through. Still have lots and lots to learn ;)

I like the composition as there is a relationship to the main subject to the background picture. Very nice

I like this too -(since you are okay with comments) I may be the only one but I find the (staff, or crop - not sure what you call it) a distraction in its current placement. It's casting a shadow on the photo as well. Still very nice concept here.
