I tried capturing the performance of a Fire dancer at a birthday party.
About 10 out of 200 shots turned out good. Not bad considering how fast that guy was moving. :D He was awesome.
This one I didn't really like. Before dumping it I tried B&W and suddenly it transformed into something more, I didn't quite expect...
What do you think? Any comments, tips, criticism welcome.

cool image, If you ever have the chance to re-shoot you could try a 'second curtain sync' flash. (a flash at the end of the exposure) This should help freeze the movement of the dancer, whilst still getting the light streaks. A Tripod is also essential for long exposure... Love the dancers face across the light streak ...

Thanks for the tips Richard:)
I actually tried to do some rear curtain flash, but I don't yet own a proper flash and the on-camera popup flash is a little weak. Also, what you can't see on the pictures, it was snowing lightly, so the flash made the snow flakes light up close to the camera, which looked awful white spots. *sigh* I really need a tripod.
If I would ever try that again,(with a proper flash) I'd need a cell matching the fire colour for the correct white balance, right? Because the flash and the fire don't work together.
I actually did some other pics where I got nice exposures of his face. I just liked the way his face became a mask in the first shoot. :)
Anyway, here they are.

These are really cool! I especially like the second one. I'm saving for a good tripod as well, My cheap one is just not up to the job. Yeah I think you would use as amber gel to get a good colour balance.
