I just started reworking some older pictures that I took in Peru a few years ago.
The bottom sections of these walls are the original construction and were the walls of Inca Palaces. After the conquest, the Spaniards put their colonial structures on top of these walls.

oh yeah! No European would ever make walls like that. Wonders of craftsmanship. You've captured the feeling of being there well. Good textures & perspective.

I see you even have the most famous of the stones. There is a 6 sided and an 8 sided stone. I know this as it was on an adventure programme on tv last month.

The hostel we stayed at was right up this road, so we got to walk it every day. I've got a shot of the 12-angle stone that Kawarthabob mentioned somewhere. I'd love to go back here someday.
