hi all -
after lurking a bit and listening to some podcasts I decided to sign up since you seem to be a group of folks who appreciate photos, process and technique more than gear.

I've been kinda, sorta semi-into photography since the 1980s. The disease goes into remission for sometimes months at a time and I hardly shoot a thing. When it's upon me though, I take pictures of a lot of stuff, but not people. Mostly nature related. These days I'm using an Olympus E-30 with the most awesome Zuiko Digital 12-60mm zoom. I still have loads of legacy glass that works great with it as well.

So besides photography I read, ride motorcycles, drive sports cars, ski, hike, listen to a lot of heavy metal and make jewelry. A couple of friends and I are also trying to get a start-up company off the gound...so I'm kinda busy.

Anyway...nice to have found the site and the forum.

TTFN,

Wicked Dark

Welcome to the forum wicked dark! :highfive: There's quite a few regulars around here that shoot and post everyday. Hopefully they can inspire you to take more shots. Took a quick look at your flickrstream, nice milkweed shot!

Thanks FortyTwo & Bambi.

Like the Zaphod quote...I used to have a cat named Zaphod. He had only one head though.

If he did have two, I'd move away from the nuclear power plant... ;)
