Yeh ... 'LOVE' to kick you in the ass for being able to shoot owls during daylight hours ... hell ... even seeing owls in the wild! I thought I saw one on the antenna masts of the coast guard the other day ... turned out to be a 'scare owl' for crows!! :headslap:

These two hang out in the trees right in front of the swim center, that is until they get sick of photographers showing up :laugh:

i'm jealous... have yet to see an owl in the wild... much less in daylight.
they always seem to have a slightly cross-eyed look, as though they're not altogether there...

And 30 - 35C, sweat, dust, grass that crunches under foot and water from the 'cold' tap that almost burns! :headslap:
