So I think I love rocks. The patterns, structure and colour fascinate me. That said, I think it's time to lay it on the line and get some objective opinions on this shot:

Composition is very good. Small gripe would be that the rock in the extreme right (near the bottom right cnr) looks a cut off but not enough to look purposeful.
Exposure, if it's non HDR or composite, is also very good.
I'd maybe dodge in some those darker spots in the rocks and maybe try some burning in the clouds to see how that looks.
But frankly ... this is good as it is. Nice work!

I did darken the clouds and merged the layers (still figuring out that one). didn't dodge the dark rocks 'cause I liked the contrast of colours. but will try the dodge and see how it turns out.

No, it's Green Bay Beach. Lots of interesting coves, rocks, trees, etc.,.

Well I would love to see something in these rocks that would make me think it is not rocks like this shot by Weston (http://www.highlysubjective.com/images/weston-pepper-30-1930.jpg) yes it is a pepper.
