I thought this belongs best in abstract. It is an extreme processing of a delicate mushroom I posted in the assignment thread (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f13/january-2010-photography-assignment-macro-close-up-6497-8.html#post47470).
I spotted this delicate little mushroom as I was about to jump on my bike to ride to work yesterday. Consequently I didn't have time to use a tripod with my macro extension tubes. In the end I wasn't thrilled with the DOF on the original image and ended up with this.

wow, I love this. It looks like a flower, a toadstool and an umbrella that comes in those 'girly' drinks!!
I even like the fuzziness of it!
