that's okay :D I like it. I wonder if it would look better with the bottom cropped off?

I don't think it's a miss at all ... in fact I really like it!
As to your crop suggestion ... yes ... I'd crop it so that only a triangle of bank is left at the bottom. That way the triangle of bank would work better with the triangle of oppositie bank/treeline!

What a beautiful photo of days end Bambi. Love it - jimmy :)
It also works at just the tree and the sky.
Sometimes these threads just slip on by, so don't take it to heart. When MA went back last month and dug up some old threads there were some absolute beauties that got missed.

Yes ... after the crop we'd see the closest bank clearly on the right side but angle away to almost nothing on the left.

It's quite pretty, especially the trees and the sky but I am not crazy for the lower swampy area.
