I'm ashamed to say that I used to hang out at the Palace - none of my prayers were answered there. Although, I did end up single again, which was a bit of a blessing at the time.

I'm ashamed to say that I used to hang out at the Palace - none of my prayers were answered there. Although, I did end up single again, which was a bit of a blessing at the time.

The Palace has gone many reincarnations. It used to be an old movie theater, then an empty building for the longest time. Before it became "Flames Central" (a huge sports bar), it was a Nightclub and I think that is the era Hodaka might be referring to. :)

Yah, referring to the nightclub era (1997-2000).
It's a long story, but in retrospect, it was exactly what I needed to happen - whether I wanted it to or not.

funny how that works out. I've had similar experience, just not at that club.
