I was doing some reading and came across this Russian photographer and found this technique a very interesting way to obtain colour photos, this was how it is interpreted his method to get colour was. This technique was used in the early 1900's, you may also want to view his works very impressive.

Or perhaps, how far we have NOT come, since RGB(red, green, blue) was and still is the basis for television, video, and digital technology.

True enough but the process to get from A to B is what I was referring to...in terms of the savings in time and the quality of the end result.
