Thanks Bambi. I photographed these leaves and branch by laying them down on fresh snow, so that way I could isolate them easily later for texture work - jimmy

So you are taking photos with the specific idea of processing them in this way. There's a talent in that Jimmy :) You're not just button pusher ;)

I agree with the comment that he has talent.
I have a question: does 'button pusher' have the same connotation in Australia as here?

Unless you tell me what that connotation is I wouldn't know ;)

I wasn't sure. here someone who pushes your buttons is someone who can drive you nutty and/or piss you off on purpose because they know what sets you off. :) Some times spouses get really good at it :evil2: Teenagers are great at it that's for sure!

Ah ... yes ... I forgot about that connotation. It's the same here. But not what I meant.
I was meaning someone who pushes buttons for a living ... unskilled labour, that sort of thing ... meaning Jimmy wasn't someone without skills or talent.

that's what I thought. I am just always curious about different idioms used in different areas. :offtopic: There are some nifty ones in the area where I live.

Thanks Mad, Antz and everyone for your nice comments. I did manage to search the net and found the texture by NinanLif that I use to make the lined border. Here is a link to her wonderful free textures -

The colour part of the background I am still searching for the author.
Thanks again - jimmy
