Well, I've been busy practising my HDR while I am staying at my parents house in Brisbane. Here's a few HDRs taken yesterday morning with MA. Any thoughts? :)

Very nice! I especially like the top one! You are going to give M.A. a real run for his money, girl!

well first let me get my jaw up off of the floor.
These are stunning! All three feel very 'organic' to me.
I love them. :1st:

I'm hungry, I think I'd like a slice of pizza. Oh... you meant the photos. Artistically and technically, I prefer #3; I think though it would be an even stronger image if composed so that the three was "moved" just far enough to the right to allow the viewer to see the RH bank of the stream.
I like the effect in #2 - it's an interesting image, and if you crop the top stream bank out, you get a very 'out-of-this-world' image. Not sure what it is, but there's something in #1 which bothers my eye; I think it's the fact that I'm having difficulty discerning detail in the leaves.
Still, I'd say you've got the HDR thing under control!

What did I tell you? Her camera and lens are the exact equivalent of your new Nikon, except hers is about 3 years old now. Her eyes saw things mine didn't and she took the time to get a few good ones instead loads of average ones like I did.
Some of the best photos I've ever seen are from camera's like this.
