We've had wet, drizzly conditions for Christmas day and today so I thought I might try something a bit different ... a little virtual tour of our house. Excuse the rough processing.

As you walk in the front door you can see right down the corridor to the far end (a common area) of the house. On the immediate left is a lounge room we rarely use as in summer it's far too hot due to the west facing windows. To the immediate right is the master bedroom. Part way down the corridor the house opens up to the open plan kitchen, dining and what we use as our lounge room.

A few steps in from the front door and you are in the lounge room. The door you came in through is just tothe right of the big Teddy Bear sitting in the bean bag. The teddy bear is facing a TV and Wii that gets used mostly for the Wii-fit exercises. Behind us right now is the kitchen/ dining area.

Continuing to walk down the corridor we find the kitchen area. Inthe back corner we can see the way to the office/sun room.

Walking between the island kitchen bench and stove we stand by the door to the garage and look at the dining area. Out those windows is where the logs are I feed the birds on.

Standing by the dining table we now look across the area we are using as our lounge room. The door you can see on the far wall is a spare room. A golf clap for anyone who tell who that is on TV. Hint ... it's a special feature from one of the Star Trek TV series.

And looking back the other way ...

And every spare room should look like crap right? In here we have our road bikes. They are clean so they get to live inside. The dirty mountain bikes get to live in the garage. Leanne's sewing machine is there, an old laptop, some washing drying because of the rain, and in the far corner is our charging station for our UHF radio's, various batteries for various things ... like cameras. The radio's are used for safety when we riding the MTB's and for coordination when shooting an event.

This is the office area. You see the various computers and screens here, along with phones and fax and filing cabinets. The chair in the center of the shot is where my ass is right now :)

The main bathroom. Self explanatory in there I guess

I didn't bother with the bedrooms ... not much to see there ... a bed ... lamps, dressing table and windows :)

Hope you found that a little bit interesting :D

Wow I didn't think Jeri Ryan was so well known :) Especially without some Borg implants visible. Although her other implants are always obvious ;)

We only rent this house unfortunately. It's a bit big now the kids aren't home much. If ALlyce moves out completely we'd have at least two rooms (probably three) that are totally empty. Getting close to needing to move on I think. And being sick of Brisbane we are looking at a major shift.

Lol, you underestimate the geekiness of the photography crowd, Mad Aussie! Lovely home, nice hdr's. But dammit man, you have art in only one room! But since you say you rent, that may be the reason. My apartment is exactly opposite, photos and art stacked on every wall.

We like the clean, open look. Lots of photos and art just clutters things up. That 'art' you see is actually a 20x30 photo of mine I got printed. One of my Elephant Cove shots.

I'm waiting for the world to produce a decent electronic frame of high resolution, large size and a decent price!
