I guess Ill post my abstract here. The night we had our first snowfall, I drove around looking for some Christmas lights. I found them but thought I would take pictures of them in a less traditional manner. As I drove around the city neighborhoods, I used a long exposure to capture some of the colors, instead of the what you would normally see.

The exposures are too long for me on these JJ...I can no longer tell what this image is about. Hope that helps somewhat - Marko

Marko, I understand your thoughts completely. Everyone has seen nice still shots of Christmas lights at night. I just wanted to try something different. As much as these may be shots of Christmas lights, to me they are not about Christmas. I just wanted to break the traditional thought of photography by taking unorthodox images of Christmas lights. I personally felt successful. If you did not know these were Christmas lights, I feel that you might have a different feeling towards the image and may wonder, "this is cool, wonder what the thought process was, and how was it captured?"

I like odd and abstract but this doe not work for me either.Sorry.. A pano crop on the top portion first one might be interesting
I think this is a hard thing to critique as it's more of a "you like this style" or "not".
Sure makes me wonder on how you were moving to get htem!
