View Full Version : Everything Old is New Again
It seems that everything old is new again. The original patent for the lava lamp was filed in the 60's, but now they seem to be as popular as ever with kids about 10. This one was a gift for my son and he loves it.

I have to say I love the colour in this one.

Thanks Michael. I did notice the lack of colour before, but your post prompted me to have another attempt at boosting the colour a bit and I have since reposted. I think the first one is still the best. I mainly think that is because it is closer to the lamp and therefore has a little more light.

The first one is sharper too, even in the watermark and there are less distracting floaty bits in the water, also the edges of the glass seem to be more well defined....great shot:)

The sharpness is a factor of Flickr v Picasa because the watermark is added at export. The sharper image was uploaded to Flickr.
