I've been trying to determine which PP software to purchase. I'm currently playing with Paint Shop Pro. I've been fooling with some of the 'fun' stuff. This started as a picture of fireworks from Canada Day. When I finished it reminded me of photos from space. What do you think? does this work?

Interesting, nice treatment on the photo, wonderful idea, thinking outside the box is always good.

It doesn't look like a photograph to me so it's hard to critique but it's a fun image.

I totally agree. It looks nothing like what I started with. I wasn't sure where to put it but when I realized I wanted feedback, this seemed like the spot for it. It seems that I am taking a little foray into surreal/abstract images -which would not be a bad idea for winter. :)

thank you Moin Moin. I had posted that in a fireworks thread back in July. I like it too. Our photo club has a 'creative' challenge where we take a photo and make it abstract.
