A Memorial to the Australian and New Zealand Light Horse Brigade of 1916 - 1918. It's position on the hill above Albany, WA was chosen because it overlooks where the first Australian and New Zealand mounted troops left to fight in WW1.

nice. I like how you recreated the feeling of standing at the base of the monument. My fav is the b&w.

I like the drama and the way you have punched the horses and solier out from the clouds in the B&W. Well done MA!

I know this isn't in crit' but.......
I would've liked to see more of the statue and less of the monument because to me the sculpture looks a bit more interesting than the pedestal it sits on. :)

No it's all bush ... and about 4000 k's and 5 hours flying away :)

I like em both but favour the B/W as it's more dramatic.
