View Full Version : Landscape in wrong orientation again?

I often find myself bringing the wrong lens out with me. When I have a longer lens thinking to catch some geese or something then I see an interesting landscape to shoot, but in order to get foreground and background elements in the frame I have to roll over to portrait (tall) orientation. Regarding this image, shot RAW and there is nothing done to it but some saturation boost, noise reduction, and some selective cloning to remove little distractions.

That photo is proof that Landscapes don't have to be shot in landscape aspect!

It's all about what you are wanting to fit into the shot ... or just as importantly .. .what you don't want in the shot.

You, obviously, are well aware of that judging by that gem!
