I'm afraid this one is not doing it for me Lovin.
For me what's interesting is what's at the end of the hallway. The people going there don't add to the photo IMO. Perhaps if the were less dark they might add additional interest. The shot is also slightly off level and slopes to the right. Hope that helps - Marko

I think it's an interesting view of the Louvre. A bit straight forward being centred and taken at eye level so I think there were some better compositional opportunities perhaps ... unless freely shooting in there is frowned upon.
The view outside is a bit blown out but to get that right you'd lose all the detail inside I guess.
Could you use flash? If so I wonder if a small amount might have geven more life to the people? On the other hand I like the silhouette anyhow, I find myself trying to figure out where they are from in this world.
This is a tough one. I've never seen this angle before. and I real like the idea and the composition, but the exposure would have been a nightmare. Definately a case for HDR. There are already parts well under and well over exposed. Even to just get the outside correctly exposed looks tough.
Wow MA. Must have been typing at the same time. :)

I see what the others are saying but I'm leaning the other way. I think it's a great shot! The title sucks though. First off, the Pyramid is outside so I would expect that this is a shot of people leaving rather than being welcomed.
The reason I like it is because it has that E.T. or Close Encounters feeling. Have I mentioned I'm a movie buff. I like the silhouette action happening here. Vertically, it appears to be off just ever so slightly or maybe its just barrel distortion.
As you see, it may not appeal to everyone but I guess it really depends on the feeling you are trying to convey.

I liked the way you captured the contrast here
