These little guys are very hard to get close to and being so small, very hard to get a decent shot of.

I managed this effort this morning on a walk. You can see part of that grass seed stalk thingy in his mouth.

I almost got this one too ... I had enough time to raise the camera and fire one off before she flew away ... and missed the focus so I'll have to tell everyone I was trying to show off her bum or something :headslap:

Nice shots...cool colours. The finch looks like he has on the red mask of Zorro!
Maybe the parrot had a thing for ya MA...Male catbirds out here show their red bums off when they are trying to impress you!
One did it for me this past summer while I was mimicking his call...lol!
I was wondering what he was doing and then I looked it up! :eek:
