Nice tonal range there, interesting location there are a few bridges I cycle under that the light is fun. Dare I ask is this a HDR turned monochrome?

Very nice, Kat!

With the longest line leaving at the top left corner of the frame and the small tri-angle in the top right, I'd say you nailed the crop. It has a three dimensional feel about it that make it very appealing to my eye. But... if that's a fishing hole, then where are all the lures and bobbers that should be hanging from underneath the bridge? ;)

Great job!

Wow, if this is an HDR, it's one of the best I've seen. As Greg said, excellent total range, 'though I'd like to see it brightened by about one stop overall I think. I do have to disagree with Barefoot about the crop though. First, I'd like to see the image leveled, and second, my eye tends to follow the bridge trusses right out the left side of the image, and I have to make myself go back and look at shore line.

That was my concern..bang on. I leveled to the under of the bridge and silly me didn't take the three minutes to do it right with the beach..guess I should go back. I cropped it but may have lost a bit more than what I wanted.

Thanks.

The HDR gives it a nice glow.

I think I liked the first crop but it did need levelling.

This is nice. I'm not terribly big on B&W especially landscapes but this seems to work. My mind screams for it to be subdued colour though like some of your other masterpeices.

Funny thing for me is the other day I was going through and deleting poor images, when just for the fun of it I converted one to B&W suddenly the image worked. I was forgetting my roots and had forgotten how sometimes color is distracting. Once again good work with this one.

Thanks. I wasn't even going to take the shot..but I knew between the rocks and lines of the bridge I wanted to try the BW. Just happened to work out! :)

And here you go MA. Desaturated color :)

I prefer the second B/W - VERY nice conversion, somewhat dramatic and I like it. Lines, composition, exposure, PP all look good to my eye. I wish there was something a bit more exciting going on in the foreground...still a strong shot tho. Hope that helps - Marko

My pleasure. It's a really strong shot but missin' that extra little something that can turn it into a big-time winner.

I like the colour version as much as the B&W in this case.
