7th Avenue C-train line....head one block south and it's like Robson street in Vancouver on Stephen Ave. Mall!

Looks cool! Yeah it's about the equivalent of Vancouver's E. Hastings down there.

Great capture. Looks like Gottingen St. in Halifax. I guess every city has a neighbourhood like this, eh?

Funny how every city seems to be set up like that, this is close to Electric Ave. right? Just like E. Hastings up a few blocks towards Robson in Vancouver. I see this a lot in cities.

The area that shocked me the most was in Hollywood CA. I got myself and my friend Kat guestlisted at a few hard to get into LA and Hollywood clubs over a few nights we were there last January. Being in the industry is pretty sweet, actually got to go in the DJ booth at LAX and cut a few tracks.

Walking from one club on Sunset Blvd down to The Viper Room (Johnny Depp's club) was like walking into a different world. We went from feeling awesome and safe and fun and everything else to Kat moving her purse to her left hand and holding my hand really tight and getting really close to me.

I never show fear when I'm out. I rarely feel fear but I actually felt more nervous there than when I took a wrong turn once a few yrs ago in LA and ended up on Compton Ave.

White guy in a done to the tits Ford Focus getting lost in Compton at about 9 at night. Generally not a good thing. Luckily, I kept my cool, kept the windows down and played it off real easy, asking 2 guys with Blue rags (tell tale sign of being Crip members) how to get back to Wiltshire Ave. They played all tough and all but then laughed and said "Wrong turn?" I smiled and said "Yup." They laughed and got us straightened out, shook hands (fist pound) and we took off. They told us 2 streets not to turn up, no matter what.

With respect...If they pressure washed, painted and did repairs for two solid weeks, Hastings and Main would never look like this image. In comparison, this image is Disneyland!
