Made a hasty trip this morning with a friend of mine to a small falls not very far from home. Colors are not quite ready just yet. I stuck mostly with the water, but you can get a small glimpse of color . . .:) These are of the lower falls and the upper falls. Heading back in a week or so and hoping for more color.

Great photos! Love the approaching fall colour. It's going to be tricky to find it at just the right time. I think if you blink it may be another year before you can catch just the right scene.

I've driven around looking the last week or two, and I think I'll have to hit certain areas at different times. The change is all over the place as far as colors go. As long as I can get to each area at the right times I'll be happy. Another wind and rain storm overnight and tomorrow so I hope it doesn't do too much damage to the leaves.
