I like this photo of the little guy splashing water on the sidewalk but it was a little soft. I took it just when the sun was getting low in the sky so it has a nice warm light but the low light and long lens were not my friends. Anyway, after F8's comments here is an attempt to sharpen it up and hopefully it has more 'pop' as well.

I like this. He looks so small in a big area. Really good composition here Raiven!

I agree with MA, so many would crop in too close on the lad and lose the impact this photo has. Way to go.

I too like the composition here!
The little guy looks pretty sharp to me. the rest of it does not need to be sharp, imo.

I agree with the points on composition; good call on the broad crop, BUT what I am not fussed about is the fact that you can't see his face. The lack of contrast between the baseball cap he's wearing and the concrete rather appear to run together.

well i already said i like it, now i like it even more. i think it's a really great capture. it's a pretty solid example of great composition imo- the lines, the colours, the body language (head down), and where the subject is in the frame all goes together so well.

Hi Raiven, I really like this shot! What bothers me is the grass at the top of the image. I hope you don't mind me doing a quick treatment, but this is how I would have edited this. (That's just me) Convert to B&W, and just a little bit of cropping and sharpening and he's still a small boy in a big space. :-)
