Beautiful shots there! This isn't so much a critique (it's not the critique section) but I would have left out the third shot. The foliage blur in it takes a little away from the first two great shots.
You must have a fairly long lens or some really friendly neighbours ;)

Thanks Ig...i wanted to show that there were 2 fawns there instead of just one, hence the 3rd shot...I wish it came out better.
Surprisingly they let me get quite close to them as long as I moved quietly, slowly and took my time (and I had my long lens also).

How long a lens? And how much time did you spend approaching them? These are fantastic.

I used my 70-300 and I think I spent 20 minutes with them. I just would take a couple of steps then stop, get some shots, take a few more and talk to them softly then take a few more. I think they were as curious about me as i was about them really, they for sure didn't find me too threatening.. If they were uncomfortable, they moved a few steps away from me.
Funny, I was more worried about where the heck Mum was because i didn't want to get charged or stomped on!
Btw, here's Mum! She didn't come out as well!
