Sweet. I'm a self confessed car nut, and a Ford man to boot. In Australia you are either a Ford man or Holden(GM) man. I also have a soft spot for mechanical close ups.

Yes, and Korean, Euro, Indian.... Its a motorsport thing. The big race series here is 2 manufacturers only of the traditional family cars.

Plenty of boy racers here in their jap tin tops and rubber band engines ... but, like Americans ... Aussies have an afinity to big cars with big V8's. That's changing though as it must. But our top motorsport heroes are all in V8 Holdens or Fords.
Holden made the last Pontiac GTO. Over here it has been our Holden (GM) Monaro for years ... in the USA it was rebadged and sold as the GTO.
Nice old car there M. Apparently the Ford GT is a monster to drive and you need to be short!
