I try now to have some goals...some topics like the one I did about the Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong. Of course itīs not easy..cause Iīm not a professional photographer and they might not take it seriously..
Does anyone know a good tecnique to accomplish some photographic projects?

Hi Miguel, I am the picky type. My mother got me into professional competition photography in the 60s and I have done a lot of work since then in photography, television, and graphics.
There is a problem for me in looking at web sites. Different types of photography have different standards, styles, and rules or guidelines that determine success. Portrait photography, street photography, candid photography, scenic and landscape work, weddings, journalistic style,...they are all different.
Typical of most web sites I have viewed, your work represents a wide range of quality and skill. General comments will not apply to all shots or even to all shots of one kind.
It would be of much more value to you, to post for example one or two of your shots in the area of portraiture so that this area could be discussed, then an example of scenics or street photography etc. Through this approach you would get more feedback and lot more specific help.

Hello Tegan,
Thanks for replying my message. It seems you have so much experience, thatīs great.
I am currently studying in Boston and I will graduate next May. Then I suppose I will go back where I am from (Spain). Even though I am studying advertising, I am really interested in photography. First I started with traditional photography and the past year I bought my first digital camera. If I think about it, I started seriously taking picutres about a year ago...so I still need a lot to improve.
Also, normally if I do any "project", such as Cantonese Opera, I do not get any benefit for it...I dont get paid or doesnt really help me much but my own satisfaction to accomplish my goals.
I will post some pictures in the portraits or landscapes area when I have the chance, thanks for your advise. I just have the time :D
