I was practicing taking portrait shots without having the studio lighting in the other model shots. This is a photo of my sister, what do you think?

Allyce has got her boobs out! http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/groan.gif

Disclaimer: Both the photographer AND the model are my daughters so I can say things like that and get away with it http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/doctor.gif

I like the shot and treatment Chantelle. I'd maybe have desaturated that extra colour in her arms a little though.

Ok how about this Dad? Looks a bit dull now, any suggestions?

The lighting is soft here which is nice, and Allyce looks sexy and her eyes are sharp. To improve imo, I'd love to see more of a catchlight in her left eye. The pose though is awkward imo. It looks like a mix between sexy pose and yoga. hope that helps

I think the 2nd is better and only looks a bit desaturated next to the other over-saturated shot. Add a touch of contrast perhaps Chantelle.

I agree with Marko that the pose doesn't look quite right. Might have been better if she was actually crawling or something. But seeing as Allyce is now back here at home and you are 10 hours drive away there's no going back to redo this one :)

As Dad said, if I was able to do this shot again I would, but my Sister has gone back home.
