Just picked up two books on HDR, so at first glance here is my reaction:
1/ Complete Guide to High Dynamic Range Digital Photography
Ferrel McCollough
This book provides many examples and explanations of techniques, it appears to mainly lean to what I call High Saturation Images and solving problems associated with them. I will up date as I read it.
2/ The HDRI Handbook
Christian Bloch
If you want to do realistic looking HDR images this is a must have book. It goes through great detail and includes a DVD with examples to work through with the book. It also includes information on creation of panoramic images and 3d applications. So far the writing is very well done even the explanation of dynamic range verses EV range is readable and understandable. This is my first pick and I will update as I read more.:1st:
This just my opinion and yours may differ.
