I liked this sign that was part of an old machine sculpture in the park. The sculpture I thought wasn't particluarily interesting but the sign caught my eye.
Threw in some Film grain and B/W to make it look antique-ish....does it work?
It definitely looks old to me =)
ETA: oh, hahah. I just noticed this was in "critiques."
Well, lets see...I think it's a tad too cut off at the bottom. Other than that, I'm fine with the comp. Maybe try boosting the contrast a bit to make it 'pop'?

I like this shot and the treatment you've given it! Personally I'm okay with the crop but i totally agree about the contrast boost. maybe get some more highlights to come in as well. You could play a while on local areas in a shot like this if you wanted to as well as try all kinds of global styles....sepiatone is a classic choice for this scene etc.
Hope that helps

I tried some different ideas and cropping...
I quite like the coloured one Casil. The first post was good too, but also agree about the contrast.
