I am on the verge of tossing this shot...it's a huge screw-up of the pheasants fighting but then again I actually like the blur, movement and colour combination together....it intrigues me. I find it rather interesting and I was wondering if anyone else sees anything worthwhile here or if I should just simply toss it?
I am torn with what to do here.....any ideas?

I like it. If this is a regular visible occurence then I might practice this shot. But It seems like it would be awefully hard to plan for. Clearly you didnt mean for this to happen, but sometimes accidental shots turn out to be the best ones. I like it, but that does not mean the rest will, and justifyably so.

I think had you thrown this one away, you'd have been forever sorry.

This is an interesting shot. Don't toss it. The colours are bright, pity the faces of the birds weren't more in focus and just the wings and bodies showing the movement. Without reading what you wrote first, I saw that it was a photo of two birds fighting; so worth keeping.

I like it. For me ... an image has to have at least one element in focus ... this has the grass which shows us that the camera was still and the movement we see is definitely the birds. I rate this as a cool shot!!

I like the splash of colour in the middle of what is otherwise kind of monotone. I didn't see it right away for what it was but I liked the abstract feel to it.

I loved it, the vibrance and the blur. It makes perfect

i think this is great i did something like this. i would like to see it more open though like a wider composition and more centered so the subject being the blurred bird looks more solidified and proper and so then it isn't exactly obvious that it's a blurred bird.:highfive:

I LOVE this!!!! you know what it is, the color of the bird pops against the neutral b/g and the movement is fabulous!!! A+++++:highfive:

I like it, although it probably would have really been cool to totally freeze them in mid air like that.

If you throw this out you'll hate yourself later. The blur of the action tells a story of the battle taking place. You have captured one of those moments in time that people are always looking for.
